Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it; then the trees of the forest shall rejoice

Zion heard and was glad; yea, the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of Your judgments, O Jehovah.

The voice of him crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of Jehovah; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Lift up the wilderness and its cities, lift up the villages where Kedar lives. Lift up the voice of those dwelling in the rock; shout from the top of the mountains.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring up. Shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.

For Jehovah comforts Zion. He comforts all her desolations, and He makes her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of singing praise.

And I said, Until when, O Lord? And He said, Until cities lie desolate without one living in them, and the houses without man, and the land is laid waste, a desolation;

And it shall be in that day, a man shall keep alive a heifer of the herd, and two sheep.

And they shall say, This land that was desolated has become like the garden of Eden. And the wasted and desolated and torn down cities are fortified and inhabited.
