And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled like a scroll. Then all their host shall droop, as a leaf drooping from the vine, and as the drooping from a fig tree.

For the stars of the heavens and their constellations shall not give light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not reflect its light.

The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away, not ever!

Now the words “Yet once” make clear the removal of the things being shaken, as having been made, so that the things not being shaken may remain.

And the fourth angel sounded his trumpet. And the third part of the sun, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, was struck, that the third part of them might be darkened, and the third part of the day might not appear; and likewise the night.
