God will not withdraw His anger; the helpers of pride crouch under Him.

I will mention Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me; behold, Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia; this man was born there.

You have crushed Rahab, as one slain; You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.

And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Take your stand and see the salvation of Jehovah, which He will prepare for you today. For as you see the Egyptians today, you shall not continue to see them again forever.

Trust in one acting deceitfully in a day of distress is like a bad tooth and a slipping foot.

And what will you do in the day of visitation and of ruin? It comes from far away. To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?

of whom He said, This is the rest; cause the weary to rest, even this is the rest. But they willed not to hear.

For so says the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; and in quietness and confidence shall be your strength. But you were not willing.

Every one is ashamed over a people who do not profit them; they are not for a help, and not for profiting, but for a shame; yea, also for a reproach.

How then will you turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put your trust in Egypt for chariotry and horsemen?

Awake! Awake! Arm of Jehovah, put on strength. Awake, as in days of old, everlasting generations. Was it not You cutting in pieces Rahab, and piercing the sea monster?

And say to him, Be on guard and be quiet. Do not fear and not be timid of heart because of the two tails of these smoking firebrands, because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, You shall say this to the king of Judah who sent you to Me to inquire of Me: Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, shall turn back into his own land of Egypt.

It is good that he hopes for the salvation of Jehovah, even in silence.

When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to King Jareb. And he was not able to heal you, and not did he cure you of your wound.
