Isaiah 30:6

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

The burden of the beasts of the south: Into the land of distress and constraint. The lioness and the lion are from them; the viper and fiery flying serpent. They lift up their riches on the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures on the humps of camels, to a people who cannot profit them.

Do not rejoice, O Philistia, all of you, for the rod of your striking is broken, because a viper comes forth from the root of a snake, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

On account of this one made up the remainder, and their store; they shall carry them over the torrent of the willows.

And I will shut up the Egyptians into the hand of cruel lords; and a fierce king shall rule them, a statement of the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts.

No lion shall be there; and no violent beast shall go up on it; it shall not be found there. But ones being redeemed shall walk there.

And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea; when one looks to the land, and behold, darkness! Distress! And light shall be darkened by its clouds.

And you went to the king with oil and multiplied your perfumes. And you sent your messengers far away, and lowered yourself to Sheol.

And they shall look to the land. And, behold, distress and darkness and gloom of anguish; and they are driven to darkness.

which I commanded your fathers in the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Hear My voice and do them according to all that I command you, so that you shall be for a people to Me, and I will be to you for God;

And they did not say, Where is Jehovah who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and of pits, in a dry land and death shade, in a land that not a man has passed through, and not a man has lived there?

Son of man, set your face the way of the south, and drop a word toward the Negeb, and prophesy against the forest of the field of the Negeb.

Ephraim feeds on wind, and follows after the east wind; all the day he multiplies lies and ruin. And they cut a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt.

And Jehovah has a quarrel with Judah, and will call Jacob to account according to his ways; He will repay to him according to his doings;

You shall eat, but not be satisfied, and your emptiness shall be in your midst; and you will draw back, but shall not keep safe; and that which you keep safe, I will give to the sword.

The black horses in it go into the north country, and the white go after them; and the dappled ones go forth into the south country.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and being victorious,lowly, and riding on a she-ass, even on a colt, the son of she-asses. (Matthew 21:5)

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, Make yourself a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that when anyone is bitten, when he sees it, he shall live.

The queen of the south will be raised in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a Greater-than- Solomon is here.

Only, he shall not heap up horses to himself, nor cause the people to turn back to Egypt so as to heap up horses, since Jehovah has said to you, You shall not again turn back in this way any more.

And Jehovah has taken you, and has brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be a people to Him, an inheritance, as it is this day.

who led you through the great and dreadful wilderness, with burning serpent, and scorpion, and thirsty ground where no water is; who brought you water out of the flinty rock;
