And shall be the fading flower,the glory of beauty which is on the head of the valley of fatness, like the firstripe fig before summer which the seeing one sees; while it is yet in his palm, he swallows it.

Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower, the glory of his beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley of those smitten with wine!

For before the boy knows to cry, My father, or, My mother, the riches of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria shall be lifted up before the king of Assyria.

Woe to me! For I am like the gatherings of summer fruit, like the gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; my soul craves the early fig.

All your fortresses are like fig trees with the firstfruits; if they are shaken, then they shall fall on the mouth of the one eating them.

and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree being shaken by a great wind casts its unripe figs.
