So hear the Word of Jehovah, men of scorn ruling this people in Jerusalem.

Until when, ones of simplicity, will you love simplicity? And will scorning ones desire scorning for themselves? And will fools hate knowledge?

Men of scorning blast a city, but the wise ones turn away anger.

If He will scorn at those scorning, yet He will give grace to the humble one.

Hear the Word of Jehovah, rulers of Sodom. Listen to the Law of our God, people of Gomorrah.

Your rulers are rebelling and are companions of thieves. Everyone loves a present, and is pursuing bribes. They do not judge the orphan, nor does the cause of the widow come to them.

And now do not be mockers, lest your bonds be made strong. For I have heard from the Lord Jehovah of Hosts that a full end even is decreed on all the earth.

For the terrifying one ceases; and the one scorning is ended; and all that watch for iniquity are cut off;

As for My people, children are the ones oppressing, and women rule over him. Oh My people, those leading you cause you to go astray, and they swallow the way of your paths.

Listen to Me, mighty ones of heart who are far from righteousness:

Jehovah of Hosts has sworn in my ears, If not many houses shall be a waste, large and beautiful ones without one living in them.

Hear and give ear; do not be proud, for Jehovah has spoken.
