King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Because You have made a heap from a city, a fortified city into a ruin; a fortress of foreigners from being a city, not to be built, to forever.

Behold, He breaks down, and no one builds; He shuts against a man, and no one opens.

It shall not be lived in forever, and not shall it be lived in to generation and generation. And the Arabian shall not pitch a tent there, nor shall those feeding make flocks lie down there.

But the desert creatures shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of howling creatures; and daughters of ostriches shall dwell there; and he-goats shall skip there.

And hyenas shall cry along with his widows; and jackals in palaces of delight. Yea, her time to come is near, and her days shall not be drawn out.

Also I will make it a possession of a shrinking animal and pools of water; and I will sweep it with the broom of ruin, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts.

The burden of Damascus: Behold, Damascus is turned aside from being a city, and it shall be a ruined heap.

And the fortress shall cease from Ephraim; and the kingdom from Damascus and the rest of Syria. They shall be as the glory of the sons of Israel, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts.

And, behold this, a chariot of a man comes, a pair of horses. And he answered and said, Babylon has fallen, has fallen! And He has shattered the graven images of her gods to the earth.

He stretched His hand over the sea; He shook kingdoms. Jehovah has made a decree against Canaan, to destroy its strongholds.

Behold, the land of the Chaldeans! This people did not exist! Assyria founded it for desert-creaturess. They set up their siege towers; they lay bare its palaces; they set it up to be a ruin.

The city of emptiness is broken down; every house is shut from entering.

And He shall bow down the fortress of the height of your walls; He will lay low, strike down to the earth, even to the dust.

For He bows those living on high; He lays low the lofty city; He lays it low to the ground; He strikes down even to the dust.

For the fortified city shall be lonely, a forsaken pasture, left alone and forsaken like a wilderness. The calf shall feed there, and he shall lie there and eat up its branches.

for the palace is left alone; the crowd of the city is forsaken; mound and tower are instead caves, until forever; a joy of wild asses; pasture for flocks;

Though it hails when the forest comes down, and the city is laid low in low places,

And thorns, nettles and thistles shall go up in her palaces, in its fortresses; and it shall be a home for jackals, a court for daughters of ostriches.

Have you not heard from afar? I have made it from days of old, even I formed it. Now I have caused it to come, and you are to cause fortified cities to crash into heaps, ruins.

and they shall not take a stone from you for a corner, or a stone for foundations, but you shall be a waste forever, a statement of Jehovah.

And I will give Jerusalem to be a heap of ruins, a den of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, not [one] living in it.

And you shall gather all its spoil into the middle of its open place, and shall burn the city with fire, and all its spoil, completely, before Jehovah your God. And it shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built any more.

And they threw dust on their heads, and cried out, weeping and mourning, saying, Woe! Woe to the great city, by which all the ones having ships in the sea were rich, from her costliness, because in one hour she was laid waste.
