The burden of the valley of vision: What ails you now, that all have gone up to the housetops?

And God heard the voice of the young boy. And the angel of God called to Hagar out of the heavens. And He said to her, What ails you, Hagar? Do not fear, for God has heard the voice of the boy, there where he is.

And the king said to her, What shall be to you? And she said, Truly I am a widow woman, and my husband died.

And the king said to her, What ails you? And she said, This woman said to me, Give your son and we will eat him today; and tomorrow we will eat my son.

What ails you, O sea, that you flee? O Jordan, that you turn back?

The mountains are all around her. Jerusalem; and Jehovah is all around His people, from this time and forever.

Where there is no vision, the people are let loose, but blessed is he keeping the law.

The burden of Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw:

They shall put on sackcloth in the broad places; everyone shall howl on their housetops and in their open places, going down in weeping.

For it is a day of tumult, and of trampling down, and of confusion, by the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, in the valley of vision; digging down a wall, and crying to the mountain.

And the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the roofs of the houses on which they have burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and have poured out drink offerings to other gods.

Behold, I am against you, one dwelling in the valley, rock of the plain, a statement of Jehovah, those who say, Who can come down against us? Or, Who can enter our dwellings?

And the Chaldeans who fight against this city shall enter and kindle this city with fire, and burn it, with the houses where they offered incense on their roofs to Baal, and poured out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke Me to anger.

because of all the evil of the sons of Israel and of the sons of Judah which they have done to provoke Me to anger, they, their kings, their rulers, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and those living in Jerusalem.

On all Moab’s housetops, and in its streets is wailing for all. For I have broken Moab like a vessel; no pleasure is in it, a statement of Jehovah.

Let the nations be aroused and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat. For there I will sit to judge all the nations round about.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision.

Therefore a night shall be for you apart from vision; and darkness for you apart from divining. And the sun shall go in on the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

and those bowing to the host of the heavens on the housetops; and those bowing, swearing to Jehovah, and swearing by Malcham,

What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.

Much according to every way. For firstly, indeed, that they were entrusted with the words of God.
