And as to the dream being repeated to Pharaoh twice, the thing is settled because it is from God, and God is hastening to do it.

For I know the purposes which I am planning for you, a statement of Jehovah; purposes of peace, and not for evil; to give you a latter time and a hope.

So hear the Word of Jehovah, all Judah who sojourn in the land of Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by My great name, says Jehovah, that My name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord Jehovah lives.

Therefore, hear the counsel of Jehovah which He has planned against Edom, and His purposes which He has purposed against those living in Teman: Surely they shall drag them, the least of the flock. Surely He shall make their dwellings desolate over them.

So hear the counsel of Jehovah that He has planned against Babylon, and His purposes which He has purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely they shall not drag them, the little ones of the flock. Surely He will not make their dwelling desolate over them.

Who is this who speaks, and it occurs, though the Lord does not command it?

For I, Jehovah, will speak. The Word which I shall speak shall be done, it shall not be drawn out again. For in your days, O house of rebellion, I will say the Word and will do it, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your bands, and the people with you. I will give you for food to the birds of prey, a bird of every wing, and to the beasts of the field.

If a rams’ horn is blown in a city, will the people not tremble? And if there is a calamity in a city and Jehovah has not done it?

Jehovah has sworn by the majesty of Jacob, I will not forget forever all their works.

Answering at that time, Jesus said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of earth, because You hid these things from the sophisticated and learned ones and revealed them to babes.

For it was of Jehovah to harden their hearts, so that they should come against Israel in battle, so that they might be destroyed, so that they might have no favor, but that He might destroy them, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
