For you have said in your heart, I will go up to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit in the mount of meeting, in the sides of the north.

Though his height goes up to the heavens, and his head touches to the clouds,

Beautiful on high, the joy of all the earth, is Mount Zion, in the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

And it shall be in the last days, the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow into it.

Your dreadfulness has deceived you, the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill; though you should make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there, a statement of Jehovah.

And say to Tyre, Oh you who dwell at the entrances of the sea, a merchant of the peoples for many isles, so says the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, you have said, I am perfect of beauty.

Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, So says the Lord Jehovah, Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, in the heart of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you give your heart as the heart of gods.

Saying, do you say, I am of the gods before him who kills you? But you are a man, and not God, in the hands of him piercing you.

Speak and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, who has said, My river is mine, and I have made it.

So the Lord Jehovah says this: Because you were exalted in height, and he has set his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height,

In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel and made me rest on a very high mountain; and it was as the structure of a city on the south.

And the king shall do according to his will. And he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god; he shall even speak marvelous things against the God of gods and shall prosper until the fury is finished. For that which is decreed shall be done.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit grew hard to act proudly, he was cast down from the throne of his kingdom, and his majesty was taken away from him.

The pride of your heart has deceived you, dwelling in the clefts of the rock; his dwelling is lofty, saying in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

This is the joyful city, dwelling confidently, the one saying in her heart, I am, and none other still is. How she has become a ruin, a resting place for animals! Everyone who passes near her shall hiss; he shall shake his hand!

And you, Capernaum, who “have been exalted to the heaven, you will be thrown down to Hades.” For if the powerful acts happening in you had taken place in Sodom, it would remain until today. Isa. 14:13, 15

And you, Capernaum, the one exalted to the heaven? “To Hades you will be thrust down!” Isa. 14:13, 15

the one opposing and exalting himself over every thing being called God, or object of worship, so as for him “to sit in the temple of God” as God, setting forth himself, that he is God. Dan. 11:36; Eze. 28:2
