It shall not be lived in forever, and not shall it be lived in to generation and generation. And the Arabian shall not pitch a tent there, nor shall those feeding make flocks lie down there.

Also I will make it a possession of a shrinking animal and pools of water; and I will sweep it with the broom of ruin, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts.

The burden of the wilderness of the sea: As tempests in the Negeb pass, it comes from the wilderness, from a terrifying land.

Because You have made a heap from a city, a fortified city into a ruin; a fortress of foreigners from being a city, not to be built, to forever.

And He has made fall a lot for them, and His hand divided it to them by line. They shall possess it until forever, from generation and generation they shall live in it.

And Hazor shall be a dwelling for jackals, a ruin forever. No man shall live there, and not any son of man sojourn in it.

Because of the wrath of Jehovah, it shall not be lived in, but all of it shall be a waste. Everyone who goes by Babylon shall be amazed and hiss at all her plagues.

Go up against the land of Merathaim, against it and against those living in Pekod. Waste and destroy after them, says Jehovah, and do according to all that I have commanded you.

For a nation comes up against her from the north, which shall make her land a horror. Yea, no one shall dwell in it. They shall flee, they shall go up, both man and animal.

So the beasts of the desert shall dwell there with jackals. And the daughters of the ostrich shall dwell in her again. And it shall not be lived in again forever; not be lived in until generation and generation.

So hear the counsel of Jehovah that He has planned against Babylon, and His purposes which He has purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely they shall not drag them, the little ones of the flock. Surely He will not make their dwelling desolate over them.

Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, a statement of Jehovah, who destroys all the earth. And I will stretch out My hand on you, and will roll you down from the rocks, and I will make you a burned mountain;

And the land trembles and writhes in pain. For every purpose of Jehovah shall rise against Babylon, to set up the land of Babylon a waste without one living in it.

And Babylon shall become heaps, a home for jackals, a horror and a hissing, without one living in it.

Her cities have become a ruin, a dry land and a wilderness, a land in which no man dwells, and not does a son of man pass by it.
