And it shall be as a gazelle driven away, and as a sheep no one gathers; each man shall look to his own people, and each man shall flee to his land.

And he said, I have seen all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep that there is no shepherd to them. And Jehovah said, No lords are to these; they shall each man return to his house in peace.

And the cry passed through the camp when the sun went, saying, Each man to his city, and each man to his land.

The nations shall crash like the crashing of many waters, but He rebukes it, and it flees far away; yea, it is pursued like the chaff of mountains before the wind, and like a whirling thing before a tempest.

For they fled from before swords, from before the drawn sword, and from before the bent bow, and from before the press of battle.

So they are to you with whom you have labored, your traders from your youth; each man wanders to his own side; no one saves you.

And it shall be, when seventy years are fulfilled, I will call to account the king of Babylon and that nation, and the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, a statement of Jehovah; and I will make it everlasting ruins.

Cut off the sower from Babylon, and the one taking hold of the sickle in the time of harvest. They shall turn from a sword of the oppressing one, each man to his people. And they shall flee, each man to his own land.

We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go, each man into his own country. For her judgment reaches to the heavens and is lifted up to the clouds.

Your shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria; your nobles are lying down. Your people are scattered on the mountains, and no one is gathering.

And seeing the crowds, He was moved with pity concerning them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

And going out, Jesus saw a large crowd, and had compassion on them, because “they were as sheep having no shepherd.” And He began to teach them many things. Num. 27:17; Eze. 34:5

For you were “straying sheep,” Isa. 53:4-6 but now you are turned back to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
