And He shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty One.

By the hand of your servants you have reproached the Lord, and said, By my many chariots I have come up to the tops of mountains, the sides of Lebanon, and I cut down its tall cedars, its choice firs; and I will go to heights of its end, the forest of its Carmel.

And one strong angel lifted a stone like a great millstone, and threw it into the sea, saying, Thus on a violent impulse, Babylon the great city will be thrown down, and it will not still be found, not ever!.

And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, having been clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow on the head; and his face as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

Bless Jehovah, O angels of His; mighty in strength; doing His Word; listening to the voice of His Word.

and against all Lebanon’s cedars, high and lifted up; and against all the oaks of Bashan;

The land mourns and droops; Lebanon is ashamed; Sharon withers like a wilderness; Bashan is shaken out; and Carmel.

Behold, Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches and forest shade and exalted in height, and his top was among the thick boughs.
