From the sole of the foot even to the head, no soundness is in it; only a wound and a stripe and a fresh blow; they have not been closed, nor bound up; and not was it softened with oil.

And no man was handsome like Absalom in all Israel, to be so greatly praised. From the sole of his foot to his crown there was not a blemish in him.

For He wounds, and He binds up. He shatters, and His hands heal.

In the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my hand spread out in the night and did not grow benumbed; my soul refused to be comforted.

And the moonlight shall be like the light of the sun. And the sun’s light shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day of binding up, Jehovah binding the break of His people, and healing the wound of His blow.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is incurable; who can know it?

For so says Jehovah, Your break cannot be cured; your wound is grievous.

Why do you cry out over your crushing? Your pain is incurable, for the greatness of your iniquity; your sins are many, so I have done these things to you.

Behold, I will bring health and healing to it, and I will heal them and will show them the abundance of peace and truth.

They have also healed the break of My people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.

As a cistern keeps fresh its waters, so she keeps fresh her evil. Violence and destruction are heard in her. Sickness and wounds are continually before My face.

There is no healing for your fracture; your wound is severe. All who hear of your report shall clap the palm over you, for on whom has your evil not continually passed?

But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall rise up, and healing will be in His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of a stall.

But Jesus hearing, He said to them, The ones being strong have no need of a healer, but the ones badly having illness.

And coming near, he bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and putting him on his beast, he brought him to an inn and cared for him.
