King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Your rulers are rebelling and are companions of thieves. Everyone loves a present, and is pursuing bribes. They do not judge the orphan, nor does the cause of the widow come to them.

Also, all the heads of the priests, and the people were continually acting unfaithfully according to all the disgusting things of the nations; and they defiled the house of Jehovah that He had sanctified in Jerusalem.

And you shall not take a bribe, for the bribe blinds the seeing ones, and it perverts the words of the righteous ones.

The wicked one takes a bribe out of the bosom to stretch the paths of justice.

He who shares with a thief hates his soul; he hears a curse, but does not tell it.

Learn to do good, seek justice, straighten the oppressor, judge the orphan, strive for the widow.

Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.

Your silver has become dross; your liquor is diluted with water.

So hear the Word of Jehovah, men of scorn ruling this people in Jerusalem.

Jehovah will enter into judgment with the old ones of His people, and their rulers. For you have eaten up the vineyard, the plunder of the afflicted one is in your houses.

Woe to rebellious sons, a statement of Jehovah, to make counsel, but not from Me; and to weave a covering web, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin on sin;

He who walks righteously and speaks with uprightness; he who rejects the gain of oppressions, who shakes his palms free from taking the bribe, who stops his ear from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil.

who justify the wicked one for a bribe, and turn aside the righteousness of the righteous ones from him!

I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebelling people who walk in the way not good, after their own thoughts;

But your eyes and your heart lust for nothing but your unjust gain, and to shed innocent blood, and injury, and to do oppression.

because of all the evil of the sons of Israel and of the sons of Judah which they have done to provoke Me to anger, they, their kings, their rulers, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and those living in Jerusalem.

Like the men watching a field, they are against her round about because she has rebelled against Me, a statement of Jehovah.

I will go up for myself to the great men and will speak to them. For they have known the way of Jehovah, the judgment of their God. Surely, together they have broken the yoke; they have torn off the bonds.

On account of this a lion out of the forest shall strike them; a wolf of the desert shall destroy them; a leopard is watching over their cities. Everyone who goes out from them shall be torn, because their transgressions are many; their apostasies are numerous.

Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house. They have eyes to see, but they do not see; ears are to them to hear, but they do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.

Her rulers in her midst are like wolves tearing prey, to pour out blood, to destroy souls, in order to gain unjust gain.

Their drink has turned them aside; fornicating they fornicate; her shields dearly love shame.

The rulers of Judah were as ones removing a border; I will pour out My wrath on them like water.

All their evil is in Gilgal, for there I hated them. I will drive them out of My house for the evil of their doings, I will not add to love them; all their rulers are revolters.

For I know your transgressions are many, and numerous are your sins: oppressing the righteous ones, taking of a bribe, and turning aside the needy ones in the gate.

Her heads judge for a bribe, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets divine for silver; yet they will lean on Jehovah, saying, Is not Jehovah in our midst? Evil shall not come on us!

Please hear this, heads of the house of Jacob, and magistrates of the house of Israel, you who abhor justice and pervert all uprightness,

Whose rich ones are full of violence, and ones living in her speak a lie, and their tongue is deceit in their mouth.

Both palms are on evil, to do it well. The ruler is asking for a bribe, also the judge. And the great man speaks the lust of his soul; he acts, and they weave it together.

And do not oppress the widow, and the fatherless, the alien, or the afflicted one. And do not devise evil in your heart, of a man against his brother.

And I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against those divining, and against ones doing adultery, and against those swearing to a lie; and against those who extort from the hired laborer’s pay; and turning away the widow, and the fatherless, and the sojourner, and the one not fearing Me, says Jehovah of Hosts.

And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian left with the rewards of the seer in their hand. And they came to Balaam and spoke the words of Balak to him.

And He said to them, It has been written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” but you have “made it a den of plunderers.” Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

And He taught, saying to them, Has it not been written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.” “But you have made it a den of plunderers.”? Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

And beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, He explained to them, in all the Scriptures, the things about Himself.

You shall not pervert judgment. You shall not regard faces, and you shall not take a bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous ones.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself without blemish from the world.

And his sons did not walk in his ways, and turned aside after dishonest gain, and took a bribe, and perverted judgment.
