But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not of this creation,
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity which they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities that they have sinned against Me, and which they have transgressed against Me.
Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of Hosts.
“And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judea, by no means are you least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you shall come out One ruling, who shall shepherd My people Israel.” Mic. 5:2
And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten One from the Father, full of grace and of truth.
we not looking at the things being seen, but the things not being seen; for the things being seen are not lasting, but the things not being seen are everlasting.
in whom also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made by hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
For the Law having a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of the things, appearing according to a year with the same sacrifices, which they offer to the carrying through, they never are able to perfect the ones drawing near.
For which reason He is obligated in all things to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to propitiate for the sins of His people. For in what He has suffered, being tried, He is able to help those being tried.
For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our infirmities, but One having been tried according in all things according to our likeness, apart from sin.
For this “Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God,” the one having met Abraham “returning from the slaughter” “of the kings,” “and having blessed him”;
And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the True One, and we are in the True One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.
