Hebrews 7:28

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

For the Law makes men high priests who have infirmity, but the word of the oath-taking after the Law appoints the Son having been perfected unto the age.

but Christ as Son over His house, whose house we are, if truly we hold fast the boldness and rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

Therefore having a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession.

So also the Christ has not glorified Himself to become a high priest, but He speaking to Him, “You are My Son; today I have begotten You.” Psa. 2:7

for the ones trulywithout oath-taking are become priests, but He with oathtaking, through the One saying to Him, The Lord swore, and will not care to change, “You are a priest unto the age according to the order of Melchizedek”; Psalm 110:4

but He, because of Him remaining unto the age, has a non-transmissable priesthood.

without father, without mother, without descent, nor beginning of days, nor having end of life, but having been made like the Son of God, he remains a priest in perpetual continuity).
