For consider Him who had endured such opposition of sinners against Himself, that you do not grow weary, being faint-hearted in your souls,

Your strength will be narrow if you faint in the day of distress,

The Lord Jehovah has given to Me the tongue of learned ones, to know to help the weary with a word. He arouses in the morning; He wakens the ear to Me, to hear as the learned ones.

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, a gluttonous man and a wine drinker, and a friend of tax collectors, and of sinners. And wisdom was justified of her children.

But hearing, the Pharisees said, This One does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, ruler of the demons.

Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.

And He having come into the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came near to Him as He was teaching, saying, By what authority do You do these things? And who gave this authority to You?

And seeking to lay hold of Him, they feared the crowds, because they had Him as a prophet.

Then going, the Pharisees took counsel so as they might trap Him in discourse.

And it occurred, on His going into a house of one of the Pharisee leaders on a sabbath to eat bread, and they were closely observing Him.

And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This one receives sinners and eats with them.

And being lovers of money, the Pharisees also heard all these things; and they derided Him.

And Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mariam (Mary), Behold, this One is set for the fall and rising up of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against;

And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able to remit sins except God alone?

And many of them said, He has a demon and is raving. Why do you listen to Him?

But on His having said these things, one of the under-officers standing by gave Jesus a slap, saying, Do You answer the high priest thus?

And because of this the Jews were persecuting Jesus and were seeking to kill Him, because He did these things on a sabbath.

And much murmuring about Him was in the crowds. Some indeed said, He is a good One; but others said, No, but He deceives the crowd.

Therefore the Pharisees said to Him, You witness about Yourself; Your witness is not true.

Then the Jews said to Him, Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets, and You say, If anyone keeps My Word, he will not taste of death into the age, not ever!

Because of this, they picked up stones that they might throw them on Him. But Jesus was hidden, and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

And those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, Are we also blind?

So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not fruitless in the Lord.

Because of this, having this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not fail in heart.

Therefore we do not fail in heart, but if indeed our outward man is being consumed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

But let us not be wearied in doing good; for in its own time we shall reap, not growing faint-hearted.

and say to them. Hear, Israel, you are drawing near today to battle against your enemies. Do not let your heart be faint; do not fear nor tremble, and nor be terrified before their faces.

And you, brothers, do not lose heart in well doing.

looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, “and has sat down at the right hand” of the throne of God.”

And you have forgotten the exhortation which He speaks with you, as with sons, “My sons, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor faint while being corrected by Him.

For which reason, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, fully consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, He did not threaten, but gave Himself over to the One judging righteously;

And I know you bore up and have patience and on account of My name you have labored and have not wearied.

Only fear Jehovah and serve Him in truth with all your heart, for see that He has done great things for you.
