A Psalm of David. A statement of Jehovah to my Lord: Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as Your footstool.

Jehovah will perfect His work in me; O Jehovah, Your mercy endures forever; You will not forsake the works of Your hands.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and lean on horses, and trust on chariotry, because it is great; and in horsemen because they are very strong! But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, and do not seek Jehovah.

Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is not one besides.

He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and known of sickness, and as hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him.

And I will wait for Jehovah, who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will look for Him.

But I will look to Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

And I will pour out on the house of David, and on those living in Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.

And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole; and it happened, if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.

From then Jesus began to show to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go away to Jerusalem, and to suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised on the third day.

Even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to You; take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.

And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with the lawless.” Isa. 53:12

Then indeed, after speaking to them, the Lord was taken up into Heaven, and sat at the right of God. Psa. 110:1

And answering, He said to them, Indeed, Elijah coming first restores all things. And how it has been written concerning the Son of Man that He should suffer many things and be utterly despised?

And immediately crying out, the father of the child said with tears, Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!

And the apostles said to the Lord, Give more faith to us.

And Herod having despised Him with his soldiery, and having mocked Him by putting around Him luxurious clothing, he sent Him back to Pilate.

Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into His glory?

On the next day, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, the One taking away the sin of the world!

Truly, truly, I say to you, If the grain of wheat falling into the earth does not die, it remains alone. But if it die, it bears much fruit.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.

Jesus knowing that the Father has given all things into His hands, and that He came out from God, and He goes to God,

And this is the will of the One having sent Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Your father Abraham leaped for joy that he should see My day, and he saw and was glad.

Therefore assuredly, let all the house of Israel acknowledge that God made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.

And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

This One God has exalted as a Ruler and Savior to His right hand, to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins.

Then they indeed departed from the face of the sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were deemed worthy to be dishonored on behalf of His name.

For the Word of the cross is foolishness to the ones perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God.

we, on the other hand, preach Christ crucified (truly a stumbling block to Jews, and a pitfall to Greeks),

and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, slaying the enmity in Himself.

and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a fragrance of a sweet smell.

being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

For our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

For the rest, the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, and not only to me, but also to all the ones loving His appearance.

But to which of the angels did He ever say, “Sit at My right hand until I place Your hostile ones as a footstool of Your feet”? LXX-Psa. 109:1; MT-Psa. 110:1

who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and bearing up all things by the Word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1

For by one offering He has perfected the carrying through of the ones being sanctified.

Indeed, this, being exposed both to reproaches and to afflictions; and this, having come to be sharer of the ones so living;

And others received trial of mockings and of scourgings; yea, more, of bonds and of prison:

For consider Him who had endured such opposition of sinners against Himself, that you do not grow weary, being faint-hearted in your souls,

Therefore let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach.

and having been made complete, He came to be the responsible Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him,

For the Law perfected nothing, but a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Now the main point over the things being said: We have such a High Priest, who sat down on the right of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven, Psa. 110:1

so Christ having been once offered “to bear the sins of many,” Christ shall appear a second time without sin to the ones eagerly awaiting Him unto salvation. Isa. 53:12

My brothers, do not in partiality have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.

searching for what, or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ made clear within them; testifying beforehand of the sufferings belonging to Christ, and the glories after these.

Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the Just One on behalf of the unjust ones, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the Spirit;

who having gone into Heaven is at the right hand of God, the angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to Him.

keep yourselves in the love of God, eagerly awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everlasting life.

saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a book, and send to the seven assemblies of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, the One being, and the One who was, and the One coming, the Almighty.

And to the angel of the assembly in Smyrna, write: These things says the First and the Last, who became a dead one, and lived:
