Genesis 48:16

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

The Angel that redeemed me from every evil, may He bless the youths; and may my name be called on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and like the fishes may they increase into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

And the Angel of Jehovah called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham! Abraham! And he said, Behold me.

And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, because you have wrestled with God and with men, and have prevailed.

And He said, I am God, the God of your fathers. Do not fear to go down into Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And now your two sons, those born to you in the land of Egypt before my coming to you in Egypt, are mine, Ephraim and Manasseh, like Reuben and Simeon, even they shall be mine.

Joseph is a fruitful son, a fruitful son by a spring; his branches run over a wall.

And David answered Rechab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, As Jehovah lives, who has redeemed my life out of all distress,

And the king swore and said, As Jehovah lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all distress,

and My people, on whom My name is called, shall be humbled, and shall pray, and shall seek My face, and shall turn back from their evil ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Jehovah keeps you from all evil; He shall keep your soul.

My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah; the humble shall hear and be glad.

Jehovah is redeeming the soul of His servants; and none of those who trust in Him shall be guilty.

The Angel of Jehovah camps around those who fear Him, and He sets them free.

Taste and see that Jehovah is good; blessed is the man seeking refuge in Him.

And the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased very much, and multiplied, and became very strong; and the land was filled with them.

our Redeemer; Jehovah of Hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel.

In all their affliction, He was not a foe; and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love and in His pity He redeemed them. And He bore them up, and He lifted them up all the days of old.

Why should You be as a man who is stunned, as a mighty one who cannot save? Yet You, O Jehovah, are in our midst, and Your name is called on us. Do not leave us.

And I will deliver you out of the hand of the evil ones, and I will redeem you out of the palm of the terrifying ones.

so that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations on whom My name is called, a statement of Jehovah who is doing this.

Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of Hosts.

even all those that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, to the ages. Amen.

I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil.

And the Lord will deliver me from every wicked work and will save me for His heavenly kingdom; to whom be the glory to the ages of the ages. Amen.
