And Judah said to his father Israel, Send the youth with me, and let us rise up and go, that we may live and not die, both we, and you, and our little ones.
And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he alone is left. And if harm should happen to him in the way in which you go, you would bring down my gray hair in sorrow to the grave.
And we said to my lord, An aged father remains to us, and a boy of his old age; and his brother is dead; and he alone is left of his mother; and his father loves him.
