And I looked in my dream. And, behold, seven ears of grain were coming up on one stalk, full and good.

And the lean ears were swallowing the seven good ears. And I spoke to the magicians, but not one is making known the meaning to me.

And, behold, seven ears of grain, being lean and blasted by the east wind, sprouting forth after them.

And those living in them were short in hand; they were terrified and were ashamed; they were as the grass of the field, and the green herb, as the grass on the housetops and blasted grain before it was grown!

Though he is fruitful among brothers, an east wind shall come. The wind of Jehovah comes up from the wilderness, and his spring shall be ashamed, and his fountain shall be dried up. He shall plunder the treasure of all desirable vessels.

For they sow the wind, and they reap the storm wind. A stalk is not to him; the bud shall make no flour. If it does make it, strangers will swallow it up.

Ephraim is stricken; their root is dried up; they shall bear no fruit. Yea, though they bear, yet I will kill the delight of their womb.
