And men, Midianites, traders, passed. And they drew up and took Joseph out of the pit, and they sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver. And they brought Joseph into Egypt.

And he gave them into his guard, in the house of the chief of the executioners, into the prison house, the place where Joseph was bound.

And the chief of the executioners assigned Joseph to be with them, and he served them. And they were under his guard many days.

And a Hebrew youth was with us, a slave to the chief of the executioners. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams to us; he interpreted to each man according to his dream.

And the rest of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to him, even the rest of the people who remained, Nebuzaradan, the chief of the executioners, exiled to Babylon.

Then Daniel answered with counsel and insight to Arioch the king’s chief of the executioners, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon.
