And he contended with the Angel, and overcame. At Beth-el he wept and pleaded to Him. And He finds us, and there He speaks with us,

But in all these things we are more than a conquerer through Him loving us.

So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not fruitless in the Lord.

Let Me alone that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under the heavens; and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.

who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to the One being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;
