Genesis 3:19

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

And Abraham answered and said, Behold, I pray, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, and I am dust and ashes.

And Jehovah God formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

I am a sojourner and a stranger with you. Give to me a burial possession among you, so that I may bury my dead from before the eyes.

And it shall bring forth thorns and thistles for you, and you shall eat the plant of the field.

And he said, I came naked out of my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there. Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away. Blessed be the name of Jehovah.

Remember, I pray, that You have formed me as clay; and will You bring me to dust again?

and after my skin has been struck off from my flesh, yet this, I shall see God,

they lie down together on the dust, and the worm covers over them.

all flesh shall perish together, and man shall return to dust.

How much more those that dwell in houses of clay; whose foundation is in the dust; they crush them before the moth!

For He knows our form, remembering that we are dust.

Man goes out to his work, and to his labor until the evening.

You hide Your face, and they are troubled; You gather their breath, and they expire and return to their dust.

Being early to rise is in vain for you, being late to sit up to eat the bread of toils is vain; for so He gives His beloved sleep.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue clings to My jaws, and You appoint Me to the dust of death

All the fat ones of the earth have eaten, and have worshiped; all those going down to the dust shall bow before Him; and he kept not his own soul alive.

You turn man back to dust, and say, Return, O sons of men.

The man who wanders out of the way of prudence shall rest in the assembly of departed spirits.

And I gave my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom concerning all which is done under the heavens. It is an evil task God has given to the sons of men, to be afflicted by it.

What is the profit to a man in all his labor which he labors under the sun?

then the dust shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.

All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all return to the dust.

As he came forth from his mother’s womb naked, he shall return to go as he came. And from his toil he may not carry anything that may go in his hand.

And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence.

The first man was out of earth, an earthy one. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven. Gen. 2:7

The one stealing, let him steal no more, but rather let him labor, working what is good with the hands, that he may have something to give to the one that has need.

For, brothers, you remember our labor and toil, night and day, working in order not to put a burden on any one of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

For even when we were with you, we commanded this to you: If anyone wills not to work, neither let him eat.

And as much as it is reserved to men once to die, and after this, Judgment;
