And he came near and kissed him. And he smelled the smell of his clothes. And he blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which Jehovah has blessed.

And of Joseph he said, Blessed of Jehovah be his land, with the best of the heavens, for the dew, for the deep crouching beneath;

By faith concerning things to come Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau.

(For the earth drinking in the rain often coming upon it, and producing vegetation suitable for those for whom it is also cultivated, receives blessing from God;
