King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And now swear to me here by God, that you will not lie to me, and to my son, and to my heir, according to the kindness which I have sworn to you. Do to me and to the land in which you have lived.

Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and male slaves, and slave-girls, and gave to Abraham. And he returned his wife Sarah to him.

And Abraham said, I will swear.

And I will cause you to swear by Jehovah, God of the heavens and God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanite, among whom I dwell.

And they said, Since seeing we have seen that Jehovah has been with you, and we have said, Let there be an oath now between us, between us and you, and let us cut a covenant with you,

And now come, let us cut a covenant, you and me; and let it be a witness between you and me.

The God of Abraham, the God of Nahor, the God of their father, let judge between us. And Jacob swore by the Fear of his father Isaac.

And his master saw that Jehovah was with him, and Joseph was prospering in his hand everything which he did.

And he said, Swear to me. And he swore to him. And Israel bowed on the head of the bed.

and you will swear, As Jehovah lives, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in Him, and in Him they will glory.

And I call God as witness to my soul that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.

You shall fear Jehovah your God, and you shall serve Him, and you shall swear by His name.

For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is to them the end of all speaking against it.

And now, please swear to me by Jehovah, since I have dealt with you in kindness, that you will also deal with my father’s house in kindness, and shall give to me a token of faithfulness;

so may Jehovah do to Jonathan and do much more also. If it should seem good to my father to do evil to you, then I will reveal it in your ear and send you away. And you shall go in peace; and may Jehovah be with you, as He was with my father.

And Jonathan again made David swear, because he loved him; for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, because we have sworn, the two of us, in the name of Jehovah, saying, Jehovah shall be between you and me, and between my seed and your seed forever. And he rose up and went. And Jonathan went to the city.

And David said to him, Are you able to bring me down to this troop? And he said, Swear to me by God that you will not cause me to die, nor close me up into my master’s hand, and I will bring you down to this troop.
