And Jehovah God formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle is taken down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in Heaven.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us;

How much more those that dwell in houses of clay; whose foundation is in the dust; they crush them before the moth!

Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

a time to tear, and a time to sew together; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

And mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of Jehovah, was captured in their pits; of whom we said, In His shadow we will live among the nations.

So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones, Behold, I will cause breath to go into you, and you shall live,

And God created the man in His own image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.
