On that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,
Babylon’s sons and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, all the sons of Assyria with them, desirable young men, governors and rulers, all of them, third heads and ones called, all of them riding horses.
And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the hand of the great river, and I lifted up my eyes and saw; and behold, a certain man was clothed in linen, whose loins were wrapped in fine gold from Uphaz;
turn and pull up stakes and go into the hills of the Amorites, and to all its neighboring places in the Arabah, in the hills, and in the foothills, and in the Negeb, and in the shore of the sea, the land of the Canaanites and of Lebanon, to the great river, the Euphrates River.
Every place where the sole of your foot treads shall be yours, from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the Euphrates River, even to the furthest sea shall be your border.
