For a man to cease from strife is an honor, but every foolish one lays himself bare.

And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.

For you are yet fleshly ones. For where among you is jealousy, and strife, and divisions, are you not fleshly ones and walking according to man?

Walk in wisdom toward the ones outside, redeeming the time.

that you may walk becomingly toward the ones outside, and that you may have need of nothing.

For we also once were senseless, disobedient, being led astray, slaving for various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

For where jealousy and contention are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

From where do wars and fightings among you come? Is it not from this, from your lusts, the ones warring in your members?

having your behavior good among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers; having watched your good works, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.
