Genesis 12:8

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And he moved from there to a mountain on the east of Beth-el, and stretched his tent with Beth-el toward the sea, and Ai on the east. And he built an altar there to Jehovah, and called on the name of Jehovah.

Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived among the oaks of Mamre, which were in Hebron; and he built an altar to Jehovah there.

And there was not a man left in Ai and Bethel who had not gone out after Israel. And they left the city open, and ran after Israel.

And Joshua rose up, and all the people of war, to go up to Ai. And Joshua chose thirty thousand men, mighty warriors and sent them away by night.

Then Joshua built an altar to Jehovah, the God of Israel, in Mount Ebal,

And Joshua sent them away, and they went to the ambush, and stayed between Bethel and Ai, on the west of Ai. And Joshua remained that night in the midst of the people.

And Gideon built an altar to Jehovah there, and called it Peace of Jehovah [Jehovah-shalom]. It is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites until today.
