And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your seed. And he built an altar there to Jehovah, who appeared to him.

And he moved from there to a mountain on the east of Beth-el, and stretched his tent with Beth-el toward the sea, and Ai on the east. And he built an altar there to Jehovah, and called on the name of Jehovah.

For all the land which you see I will give to you, and to your seed until always.

Rise up! Walk through the land, in its length and in its breadth, for I will give it to you.

Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived among the oaks of Mamre, which were in Hebron; and he built an altar to Jehovah there.

And they came to the place which God had said to him. And Abraham built there the altar, and arranged the wood. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood.

Jehovah, the God of Heaven, who took me from the house of my father and from the land of my birth, and who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, I will give this land to your seed; He shall send His Angel before you, and you shall take a wife from there for my son.

And he built an altar there and called on the name of Jehovah. And he pitched his tent there. And the slaves of Isaac dug a well there.

Reside in this land, and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your seed I will give all these lands. And I will cause to rise My oath which I swore to your father Abraham.

And, behold, Jehovah stood above it and said, I am Jehovah the God of your father Abraham, and the God of Isaac; the land on which you are lying, I will give it to you and to your seed.

And may He give to you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your seed with you, for you to possess the land of your travels, which God gave to Abraham.

And Jacob called the name of the place Face of God, because I saw God face to face, and my life is delivered.

And he set up an altar there. And he called it, El, the God of Israel.

And the land which I gave to Abraham and to Isaac, I will give it to you; and after you I will give the land to your seed.

And he built an altar there and called the place El-beth-el; because God revealed Himself to him there when he fled from the face of his brother.

And Noah built an altar to Jehovah, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And David built an altar there to Jehovah, and offered burnt offering and peace offerings. And Jehovah was entreated for the land; and the plague was stayed from Israel.

Are You not our God? You dispossessed those living in this land from before Your people Israel, and have given it to the seed of Abraham, Your friend, forever;

Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak stood up, and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brothers, and built the altar of the God of Israel in order to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.

And Moses built an altar. And he called its name, Jehovah My Banner.

And Moses wrote all the words of Jehovah. And he rose early in the morning and built an altar below the mountain, and twelve memorial pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself, and You spoke to them, I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens, and all this land which I have said, I will give to your seed. And they shall possess it forever.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, Come, go up from this place, you and the people whom you have caused to go up out from the land of Egypt, to the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed.

And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, and by My name JEHOVAH I have not been known to them.

And I also established My covenant with them to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they abode.

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north, to the land that I have caused your fathers to inherit.

The land shall be divided to those for an inheritance, according to the number of names.

Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob because they have not wholly followed Me;

And He did not give to him an inheritance in it, not even a step of a foot. And He promised to give it to him for a possession and to his seed after him, there being no child to him. Gen. 17:8

That is: not the children of flesh are children of God, but the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed.

But the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed (it does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” which is Christ). Gen. 3:15; 21:12; 22:18, Rom. 9:7; Heb. 11:18

But, brothers, we are children of promise according to Isaac.

See, I have given before you the land; go in and possess the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them, and to their seed after them.

to love Jehovah your God, to listen to His voice, and to cling to Him. For He is your life, and the length of your days so that you may live in the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them.

And Jehovah said to him, This is the land which I have sworn to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed. I have caused you to see with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.

And it shall be, when Jehovah your God shall bring you into the land which He has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to you great and good cities, which you have not built,

It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you go to possess their land. But Jehovah your God is dispossessing them from before you because of the wickedness of these nations; and in order to establish the Word which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having welcomed them and confessed that they are strangers and sojourning ones on the earth.

Being called out by faith, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was going to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not understanding where he goes.

Be strong and brave. For you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.

And when they came to the regions of the Jordan in the land of Canaan, then the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh built an altar there by the Jordan, an altar of grand appearance.

Then Joshua built an altar to Jehovah, the God of Israel, in Mount Ebal,

And Gideon built an altar to Jehovah there, and called it Peace of Jehovah [Jehovah-shalom]. It is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites until today.

And he returned to Ramah, for his house was there. And there he judged Israel; and he built an altar to Jehovah there.
