And by the good hand of our God on us, they brought us a head man from the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel, and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brothers, eighteen.
And Hezekiah spoke to the heart of all the Levites, those acting wisely in good understanding as to Jehovah. And they ate the appointed feast seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.
And He has extended mercy to me before the king and his counselors, and before all the king’s mighty leaders. And I was made strong, as the hand of Jehovah my God was on me. And I gathered out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
this Ezra went up from Babylon. And he was a skilled scribe in the Law of Moses, which Jehovah the God of Israel had given. And the king granted him all he asked, according to the hand of Jehovah his God on him.
For on the first of the first month, he laid the foundation in order to go up from Babylon, and on the first of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of God on him.

and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, so that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the temple which is for the house, and for the city wall, and for the house into which I shall enter. And the king granted it to me, according to the good hand of my God on me.
And Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the Law. And the people were in their place.
And in any matter of wisdom and understanding that the king asked from them, he found them ten hands better than all the magicians and the conjurers who were in all his kingdom.
