And He brought me there; and, behold, a man whose appearance was as the appearance of bronze, and a line of linen and a measuring reed in his hand. And he stood in the gate.

And I looked, and behold, a likeness as the look of fire, from the appearance of His loins and downward, like fire, and from His loins and upward, as the look of brightness, like the color of polished metal.

and His feet like burnished brass having been fired in a furnace; and His voice as a sound of many waters;

And a reed like a staff was given to me, and the angel stood, saying, Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar, and the ones worshiping in it.

And he speaking with me had a golden reed, that he may measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
