And Judah and Israel lived securely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree; from Dan even to Beer-sheba all the days of Solomon.

You answered them, O Jehovah our God; to them You were a God who forgives them, but One taking vengeance on their doings.

The cities of Aroer are forsaken; now they are for flocks; they lie down and no one terrifies them.

For I am with you, a statement of Jehovah, to save you. Though I make a full end among all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end with you. But I will correct you with judgment, and I will not leave you free from guilt.

And I will give the land to be desolate because they have acted unfaithfully an unfaithful act, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

And you who have mediated for your sisters must bear your shame by your sins which you abominably did more than they; they are more righteous than you. And also you be ashamed and lift up your shame, in that you have judged your sisters.

so that you may remember and be ashamed. And you will not any more open your mouth, because of your shame, when I am propitiated for you for all that you have done, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

So speak to the house of Israel, son of man, and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Yet in this your fathers have acted unfaithfully against Me by an unfaithful act.

And you shall remember there your ways and all your doings by which you have been defiled in them. And you will hate yourselves to your faces for all your evils which you have done.

In the midst of the pierced ones they have put a bed for her, with all her multitude. Her graves are round about him, all of them uncircumcised, pierced ones by the sword. Though their terror was given in the land of the living, yet they have borne their shame with those going down to the Pit; he is put in the midst of the pierced ones.

These are the rulers of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who have gone down with the pierced ones in their terror. They are ashamed of their might. And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced ones by the sword, and bear their shame with those going down to the Pit.

And I will cut a covenant of peace with them and give evil beasts to cease out of the land. And they shall live in the wilderness securely and sleep in the forests.

And you will remember your evil ways and your doings that were not good, and you will despise yourselves in your own eyes for your iniquities and for your abominations.

After many days you shall be visited. In the after years you shall come into the land turned back from the sword, gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel which have been for a continual waste. But he has been brought out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.

And they shall not come near to Me to serve as priest to Me, and not come near to any of My holy things, to the holiest of the holy things, but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have done.

O Lord, I pray, according to all Your righteousness, let Your anger and Your fury be turned back from Your city Jerusalem, Your mountain of holiness. For because of our sins and of the iniquity of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all those around us.

But they shall each man sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and there shall be no trembling; for the mouth of Jehovah of Hosts has spoken.
