And it shall be in that day, the Lord shall add His hand, the second time, to possess the remnant of His people that remains, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coasts of the sea.
Surely the rulers of Zoan are foolish ones; the advice of Pharaoh’s wise counselor has become stupid. How can you say to Pharaoh, I am the son of wise ones, the son of kings of old?
The Word which was to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who were living in the land of Egypt, those living at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the land of Pathros, saying,
And all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah saying,
Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, says, Behold, I am calling to account the multitudes of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with her gods and her kings, even Pharaoh and those who trust in him.
And I will return the captivity of Egypt and will make them return to the land of Pathros, to the land of their origin. And they shall be a lowly kingdom there.
So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I will give to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt. And he shall lift up her host and plunder her plunder, and spoil her spoil. And it shall be hire for his army.
And they went up into the Negeb, and came to Hebron. And Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the sons of Anak, were there. And Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.
