Ezekiel 26:16

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And all the rulers of the sea shall come down from their thrones and lay aside their robes and strip off their embroidered garments. They shall be clothed with tremblings. They shall sit on the ground and shall tremble at every moment and be appalled at you.

They sit on the ground; the elders of Zion’s daughters are silent. They made dust go up on their heads, they gird on sackcloths. The virgins of Jerusalem let their heads go down to the ground.

And I dressed you with embroidered work, and I shod you with dugong sandals. And I wrapped you in fine linen, and I covered you with silk.

I will give you terrors, and you will not be. Though you are sought, yet you shall not be found any more forever, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. I have cast you to the ground. I will put you before kings, that they may see you.

So says the Lord Jehovah: In the day he went down to Sheol, I caused a mourning. I covered the deep over him, and I held back her rivers, and many waters were confined. And I darkened Lebanon on him, and all the trees of the field wilted away because of him.

And I will make many people appalled at you, and their kings will be horribly afraid at you, when I make My sword fly before their faces. And they shall tremble at every moment, each man for his own life, in the day of your fall.

The king shall mourn, and the ruler shall be clothed with despair. And the hands of the people of the land shall be anxious. According to their way, I will do to them, and according to their judgments, I will judge them. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.

Now I will soon pour out My fury on you and fulfill My anger on you. And I will judge you according to your ways and will put on you all your disgusting things.

Then the king’s brightness was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, and the joints of his loins shook, and his knees knocked one against this other.

They shall walk after Jehovah; He shall roar as a lion. When He roars, even sons shall tremble from the west.

And the word touched even to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he passed his robe from him and covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes.

And I will overturn the throne of the kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. And I will overturn the chariots and those riding in them, and the horses and those riding will come down, each man by the sword of his brother.

Likewise, younger ones be subject to older ones; and all being subject to one another. gird on humility, because God sets Himself “against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones”. Prov. 3:34

And the kings of the earth will weep for her, and will wail over her, the ones having fornicated and having luxuriated with her, when they see the smoke of her burning;
