And behold, being planted, shall it prosper? Withering shall it not wither when the east wind touches it? It shall wither in the beds where it sprouted.
And he shall lead Zedekiah into Babylon, and there he shall be until I visit him, says Jehovah. Though you fight with the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed.
At that time it shall be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A hot wind from the bare hills in the desert toward the daughter of My people, not to winnow and not to cleanse!

And seeing one fig tree by the road, He went up to it, and found nothing on it except leaves only. And He said to it, Let there be no more fruit from you forever. And the fig tree immediately dried up.
These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds being carried about by winds, fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots;
