And the cherubs shall be spreading out wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces each toward its brother; the faces of the cherubs shall be toward the mercy seat.
And under the expanse their wings were straight, the one toward the other, to each one, two wings covering on this side, and to each one two covering on that side of their bodies.
And four faces were to each one. The first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
