And Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunder had ceased, and he continued to sin. And he made his heart strong, he and his servants.

And in the time of his distressing he acted more unfaithfully against Jehovah, this King Ahaz.

And he did not humble himself before Jehovah, like the humbling of his father Manasseh, for Amon himself multiplied guilt.

And also he rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God; and he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart from turning to Jehovah the God of Israel.

And Jehovah said to Moses, As you go to return to Egypt, see all the wonders which I have put in your hand, and do them before Pharaoh. And I will make strong his heart, and he will not send the people away.

And Jehovah said to Moses, The heart of Pharaoh is a heavy one; he refuses to send away the people.

And Pharaoh saw that there was relief. And he hardened his heart, and he did not listen to them.

And Moses went out from Pharaoh, from the city, and he spread out his palms to Jehovah. And the thunder and the hail ceased. And rain was not poured out toward the earth.

And Pharaoh’s heart was made heavy, and he did not send away the sons of Israel, as Jehovah had said by the hand of Moses.

Where sentence on an evil work is not executed speedily, on account of this the heart of the sons of men is filled in them to do an evil act.

And why do you make heavy your heart as the Egyptians and Pharaoh made heavy their heart? When He thrust hardly with them, did they not send them away? And they went.
