And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation in the earth that God went to redeem to be a people for Himself, and to make Himself a name, and to do for You great and fearful things for Your land, before Your people which You redeemed to You from Egypt, from nations and their gods?
And it happened in that night, that the Angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of Assyria; and they rose up early in the morning, and behold, all of them were corpses having died.
And You gave signs and wonders on Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of the land. For You knew that they were seething against them. And You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.
And behold! I am hardening the heart of the Egyptians. And they will go after them. And I will be honored through Pharaoh and through his armies, through his chariots, and through his horsemen.
And I will make Pharaoh’s heart strong, and he will pursue you. And I will be honored through Pharaoh, and through all his armies. And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.
For You have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt until this day, and in Israel, and among men; and You have made a name for Yourself, as at this day.
For from the rising of the sun until its going in, My name shall be great among the nations, and every place where incense shall be offered to My name; and a pure food offering; for My name shall be great among the nations, says Jehovah of Hosts.
But cursed be one deceiving and there is a male in his flock, and he vows it, but he sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord. For I am a great King, says Jehovah of Hosts, and My name is feared among the nations.
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very thing I raised you up, so that I might show forth My power in you, and so that My name might be publicized in all the earth.” Ex. 9:16
But if God, desiring to display wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,
For certain men slipped in stealthily, the ones having been of old written before to this judgment, ungodly ones perverting the grace of our God into unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.
