And Jehovah said to Moses, As you go to return to Egypt, see all the wonders which I have put in your hand, and do them before Pharaoh. And I will make strong his heart, and he will not send the people away.

And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man; in their erring he is flesh. And his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

And Jehovah said to him, How? And he said, I will go out and shall be a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all his prophets. And He said, You shall entice him, and also you are able. Go out and do so.

He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.

who set His signs in Egypt, and His wonders in the field of Zoan.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, for I have made his heart heavy and the heart of his servants, so that I may set these signs of Mine in their midst;

And Jehovah made strong the heart of Pharaoh, and he was not willing to send them away.

And Moses and Aaron did all these miraculous signs before Pharaoh. And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not send away the sons of Israel from his land.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that My wonders may multiply in the land of Egypt.

And behold! I am hardening the heart of the Egyptians. And they will go after them. And I will be honored through Pharaoh and through his armies, through his chariots, and through his horsemen.

And I will make Pharaoh’s heart strong, and he will pursue you. And I will be honored through Pharaoh, and through all his armies. And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.

And Jehovah made Pharaoh king of Egypt’s heart strong. And he pursued the sons of Israel. And the sons of Israel were going out with a high hand.

And I know that the king of Egypt will not permit you to go, not even by a strong hand.

And I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders, which I will do in its midst, and afterward he will send you away.

And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as Jehovah had said.

And I will harden the heart of Pharaoh. And I will multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.

And the frogs will depart from you, and from your houses, and from your servants, and from your people. They will only be in the river.

And Pharaoh saw that there was relief. And he hardened his heart, and he did not listen to them.

And Pharaoh made heavy his heart this time also, and he did not send away the people.

And Jehovah hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not listen to them, as Jehovah had said to Moses.

And Pharaoh’s heart was made heavy, and he did not send away the sons of Israel, as Jehovah had said by the hand of Moses.

Make the heart of this people fat, and make his ears heavy, and shut his eyes, that he not see with his eyes, and hear with his ears, and understand with his heart, and turn back, and one heals him.

O Jehovah, why do You make us wander from Your ways? You harden our heart from Your fear. For Your servants’ sake, return the tribes of Your inheritance.

“He has blinded their eyes” and “has hardened their heart,” “that they might not see with the eyes” and “understand with the heart,” “and turn back,” “and I should heal them.” Isa. 6:10

And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do the things not fitting

So, then, to whom He wills, He shows mercy; but to whom He wills, He hardens.

to the ones, an odor of death unto death, and to the ones, an odor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

From Aroer, which is by the edge of the Arnon River, and the city beside the river, even to Gilead, there was not a city which was too high for us. Jehovah our God delivered all before us.

For it was of Jehovah to harden their hearts, so that they should come against Israel in battle, so that they might be destroyed, so that they might have no favor, but that He might destroy them, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

and “a Stone-of-stumbling, and a Rockof- offense” to the ones stumbling, being disobedient to the Word, to which they were also appointed. Isa. 8:14
