And it happened, as he came near to the camp and saw the calf and dances, the anger of Moses was hot. And he threw the tablets from his hands, and he broke them below the mountain.
And Moses prayed before the face of Jehovah his God, and he said, Why, O Jehovah, does Your anger be hot against Your people whom You caused to go up from the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
And Jehovah said to Moses, Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone, like the former. And I will write on the tablets the words which were on the former tablet, which you broke.
not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was a husband to them, a statement of Jehovah.
But I say to you, Everyone who is angry with his brother without cause shall be liable to the Judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the sanhedrin; but whoever says, Fool! shall be liable to be thrown into the fire of Hell.
And having looked around on them with anger, being greatly grieved over the hardness of their heart, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out, and his hand was restored sound as the other.
