And when He finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave to Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.
Because this is the covenant which I will bequeath to the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be for God to them, and they shall be for a people to Me.
it being made known that you are Christ’s letter, ministered by us, not having been inscribed by ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.
But if the ministry of death having been engraved in letters in stone came to be in glory, so as that the sons of Israel could not gaze into “the face of Moses” because of the glory of his face, which was to be caused to cease,
At that time Jehovah said to me, Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me, into the mountain, and you shall make for yourself an ark of wood;
And he cut out two tablets of stone like the former. And Moses rose early in the morning and went up into Mount Sinai, as Jehovah had commanded him. And he took in his hand the two tablets of stone.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone, like the former. And I will write on the tablets the words which were on the former tablet, which you broke.
And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets written on their two sides, on this and on that side they were written.
