Exodus 3:18

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And they shall listen to your voice; and you shall come in, you and the elders of Israel to the king of Egypt. And you shall say to him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews has met us; and now, please let us go for a journey of three days into the wilderness, and let us sacrifice to Jehovah our God.

And Jehovah had said to Abram, Go out from your land and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.

And one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew; for he was living among the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and Aner. And they were possessor of a covenant with Abram.

After these things the Word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not fear, Abram; I am your shield, your reward will increase greatly.

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;

And Jacob said to Joseph, God Almighty appeared to me in Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

Also, in Judah the hand of God was to give to them one heart to do the king’s command, and of the leaders, by the Word of Jehovah.

Your people shall have willingnesses in the day of Your strength; in the majesties of holiness; from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and said to him, So says Jehovah the God of the Hebrews, Until when will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Send away My people so that they may serve Me.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Pass on in front of the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. And take in your hand your staff with which you smote the River, and go.

In the third month of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, on this day they came to the wilderness of Sinai.

And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you concerning the sons of Israel.

And He said, I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you that I have sent you, when you bring out the people from Egypt: You shall serve God on this mountain.

Go, and gather the elders of Israel and say to them, Jehovah, the God of your fathers has appeared to me, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, Visiting I have visited you and have seen what is done to you in Egypt.

And you shall grind some of it fine, and put some of it in front of the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I meet you. It shall be most holy to you.

And you shall put it in front of the veil which is beside the ark of the testimony; in front of the mercy seat which is over the testimony, there where I meet you.

And Moses answered and said, And, behold, they will not believe me and will not listen to my voice. For they will say, Jehovah has not appeared to you.

And I said to you, Send My son away, and let him serve Me; and you refused to send him. Behold, I am about to kill your son, your first-born!

And it happened on the way, in the lodging place, Jehovah met him and sought to kill him.

And the people believed. And they heard that Jehovah had visited the sons of Israel, and that He had seen their affliction. And they bowed and worshiped.

And afterward Moses and Aaron came in and said to Pharaoh, So says Jehovah the God of Israel, Send away My people, and they shall hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.

And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Now let us go a journey of three days into the wilderness and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, that He not strike us with plague or with sword.

And you shall say to him, Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, Send away My people, so that they may serve Me in the wilderness. And, behold, you have not listened until now.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go to Pharaoh, and say to him, So says Jehovah, Send away My people that they may serve Me.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Rise early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh. Behold, he is about to go out to the water. And say to him, So says Jehovah, Send away My people that they may serve Me.

And I will put redemption between My people and your people. This miraculous sign shall be for tomorrow.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh and speak to him, So says Jehovah the God of the Hebrews, Send away My people that they may serve Me.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Get up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, So says Jehovah the God of the Hebrews, Send away My people that they may serve Me.

You meet him who rejoices and works righteousness; they remember You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned. In them is eternity, we shall be saved.

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, So says Jehovah, I remember you, the kindness of your youth, the love of your betrothals, your going after Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

And they did not say, Where is Jehovah who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and of pits, in a dry land and death shade, in a land that not a man has passed through, and not a man has lived there?

to listen to the words of My servants the prophets whom I have given to you, even rising up early and sending, but you have not listened,

And you shall place them in the tabernacle of the congregation, before the testimony, where I shall meet with you.

According to all we heard from Moses, so we will listen to you. Surely Jehovah your God is with you, as He has been with Moses.
