And Isaac spoke to his father Abraham and said, My father. And he said, Behold me. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood! But where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

to offer the burnt offerings to Jehovah on the altar of the burnt offering continually, to the morning, and to evening, even to all that was written in the Law of Jehovah, which He commanded Israel;

and are offering to Jehovah burnt offerings morning by morning, and evening by evening, and sweet incense, and the Bread of Arrangement on the pure table, and the golden lampstand and its lamps, to burn evening by evening. For we are keeping the charge of Jehovah our God. And surely you have forsaken Him.

And Solomon sent to Hiram the king of Tyre, saying, As you dealt with my father David, and sent him cedars to build a house to live in it, also

behold, I am building a house to the name of Jehovah my God, to dedicate to Him, to burn incense of sweet spices, and the Bread of Arrangement continually before Him, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and at the set feasts of Jehovah our God. This shall be upon Israel forever.

And they have shut the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and they have not burned incense, and burnt offering has not gone up in the sanctuary to the God of Israel.

And the king’s portion from his substance was for burnt offerings, for burnt offerings of the morning and the evening; and the burnt offerings of the sabbaths, and of the new moons, and of the set feasts, as it was written in the Law of Jehovah.

even as the matter of every day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the appointed feasts three times in the year, in the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks, and in the Feast of Booths.

And they set the altar on its bases, for fear was on them because of the people of those lands. And he offered burnt offerings on it to Jehovah, burnt offerings morning and evening.

And afterward the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of Jehovah that were set apart, and of everyone who willingly offered a freewill offering to Jehovah.

And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tent of the tabernacle of the congregation. And he offered up on it the burnt offering and the food offering, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

And you shall prepare a burnt offering daily to Jehovah, a lamb without blemish, a son of a year; from dawn to dawn you shall prepare it.

So they shall prepare the lamb, and the food offering, and the oil, from dawn to dawn as a burnt offering continually.

And from the time the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolates given up, a thousand, two hundred and ninety days shall occur.

and while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, touched me when I being weary in my weariness, about the time of the evening sacrifice.

And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on a corner of the altar will be abominations that desolate, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall pour out on the desolated.

And the sons of Aaron shall burn it as incense on the altar, on the burnt offering on the wood on the fire, a fire offering of a soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering; it is the burnt offering on the hearth on the altar all the night until the morning, and the fire of the altar is kept burning on it.

And he brought the food offering and filled his palm from it, and burned it as incense on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

besides the burnt offering of the month, and its food offering, and the continual burnt offering, and its food offering, and their libations, according to their ordinance for soothing fragrance, a fire offering to Jehovah.

On the next day, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, the One taking away the sin of the world!

who has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices according to a day, firstly for His own sins, then for the ones of the people, for this He did once for all, having offered up Himself.

but with precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot,
