Exodus 23:33

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

They shall not dwell in your land, lest they cause you to sin towards Me. If you serve their gods, then it will be a snare to you.

And you shall consume all the peoples whom Jehovah your God is giving to you. And your eye shall have no pity on them; and you shall not serve their gods; for it shall be a snare to you.

and they regained their senses out of the snare of the devil, being captured by him to do the will of that one.

And I also have said, I shall not dispossess them before you, and they shall become thorns in your sides, and their gods shall become a snare to you.

And Saul said, I will give her to him, and she shall be a snare to him; and the hand of the Philistines shall be on him. And Saul said to David a second time, You shall be my son-in-law today.
