When a man burns a field or a vineyard, and he lets loose his beast and it feeds another’s field, he shall repay the best of his field and the best of his vineyard.
When a fire breaks out and finds thorns, and a stack of grain, or standing grain, or the field is burned up, repaying the one kindling the fire shall repay.
Yea, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, and given us inheritance in fields and vineyards; will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!
