Exodus 20:24King James 3 - The Literal TraslationYou shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on it, your sheep and your cattle. In every place in which I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and will bless you. See the chapter |
And King Rehoboam made himself strong in Jerusalem, and reigned. For Rehoboam was a son of forty one years when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city that Jehovah had chosen to put His name there, out of all the tribes of Israel. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.
And it shall be the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I am commanding you, your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice free-will offerings which you vow to Jehovah.
And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite that is inside your gates, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow, all that are among you, in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.
