Reside in this land, and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your seed I will give all these lands. And I will cause to rise My oath which I swore to your father Abraham.
For He has not despised and not detested the affliction of the afflicted one; and He has not hidden His face from Him, but when He cried to Him, He heard.
And Jehovah appeared to him in the same night, and said, I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you; and I will bless you and increase your seed, because of My servant Abraham.
And when Jehovah raised up judges to them, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. For Jehovah took pity because of their groaning before those oppressing them, and those crushing them.
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be [for] God to you and to your seed after you.
“Seeing, I saw the mistreatment of My people in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and I came down to deliver them. And now, come, I will send you to Egypt. “Ex. 3:5, 7, 10
And God remembered Noah and every living thing, and all the cattle which were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
And He said to Abram, Knowing you must know that your seed shall be a sojourner in a land not theirs; and they shall serve them. And they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Behold! You are with child and shall bear a son; and you shall call his name Ishmael, because Jehovah has listened to your affliction.
And God said to him, I am God Almighty; be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall be from you. And kings shall go forth from your loins.
And we cried to Jehovah, and He heard our voice, and sent a messenger, and is bringing us out of Egypt; and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.
At this time tomorrow I will send to you a man out of the land of Benjamin. And you shall anoint him for the leader over My people Israel. And he shall save My people out of the hand of the Philistines; for I have seen My people, for their cry has come to Me.
And Jehovah was gracious to them, and pitied them, and turned toward them, for the sake of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and was not willing to destroy them, and not to cast them out from His presence as yet.
